We work to ensure information accuracy, but cannot guarantee completeness, accuracy, or currency of all data. Information on LactCheck comes from:
Machine learning predictions carry inherent uncertainty. ML predictions are estimates based on molecular structure similarity and should be treated as such — not as verified clinical measurements. Predictions are flagged when molecular structure is unusual or when the drug has limited training data. Always verify predictions with a healthcare provider.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LACTCHECK AND BENEVOLENCE LABS PROVIDE THE SERVICE “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.”We make no warranties — express or implied — including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that ML predictions are accurate or complete.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BENEVOLENCE LABS DISCLAIMS ALL LIABILITY for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential damages arising from:
Total liability under these Terms shall not exceed $100 USD or the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, whichever is greater.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Benevolence Labs, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorney’s fees) arising out of your use of LactCheck or violation of these Terms.
Your access. You may stop using LactCheck at any time. You may also delete your account at any time through settings or by contacting support.
Our access. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to LactCheck at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including but not limited to: violation of these Terms, fraudulent or abusive activity, non-payment of subscription fees, or to protect the integrity and security of the Service. Where feasible, we will provide notice before termination.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections 2, 3, 9, 10, 11, 13, 14, and 16 survive termination.
Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of your personal information is governed by the LactCheck Privacy Policy. By using LactCheck, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in our Privacy Policy.

LactCheck is not subject to HIPAA. The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) applies only to “covered entities” (health plans, healthcare providers, and healthcare clearinghouses) and their “business associates.” LactCheck is a consumer-facing software tool and is not a healthcare provider, health plan, or clearinghouse. Accordingly, HIPAA’s privacy and security requirements do not apply to LactCheck.
Nonetheless, we take the sensitivity of health-related information seriously. We collect only the information necessary to provide the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not sell or share your health-related search information with advertisers or third parties.
Benevolence Labs is not liable for any failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, war, terrorism, pandemics, strikes, power outages, changes in laws or regulations, or failure of third-party service providers.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Arbitration. Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of LactCheck shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If not resolved within 30 days, either party may initiate binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association, conducted in Texas. The arbitrator’s decision is final and binding, and judgment may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction.
Class action waiver. You agree that any dispute resolution will be conducted on an individual basis only — not as a plaintiff or class member in any class, consolidated, or representative proceeding.
By creating an account or subscribing to LactCheck, you consent to receive electronic communications from us, including via email. These communications may include service announcements, billing notifications, and changes to the Service or these Terms. You may opt out of marketing emails at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link.
We may update these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will post the updated Terms on this page with a revised “Last updated” date, and — for significant changes — provide notice via email to your registered address.
Continued use of LactCheck after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. If you do not agree to updated Terms, you must stop using the Service and cancel your subscription.
